Returns

Return Policy:

  • Items may be returned up to 30 calendar days after date of delivery.
  • All returns require a Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns without an RMA number will not be accepted.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.  If an order received “free shipping,” shipping charges that were covered by Chanson Hardware will be deducted from the refund.**
  • Returns with a merchandise total of over $200 are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • All returned items must be new, unused, and in resalable condition.  This also applies to the item’s packaging.  We will not accept returns with packaging that has writing, tears, cuts, markings, etc.

** For partial returns, the shipping charge deduction will be calculated using the percentage of the entire order.  For example, if a $20 item is returned from a $100 order, then 20% of the original shipping charge will be deducted.

 

Return Process:

To initiate a return, please email returns@chansonhardware.com.  Be sure to provide the following:

  1. Name
  2. Order number (usually begins with "C28xxxx")
  3. Item(s) and quantity
  4. Reason for return

If your return request is eligible, our returns department will reply, via email, with return instructions and an RMA number.  Returns must be shipped within 8 days after an RMA number is assigned. The customer is responsible for return shipping. It is highly recommended to use shipping that is trackable and insured, as Chanson Hardware is not responsible for lost or damaged returned shipments.

Please note that an RMA number is only an authorization for a return, not an approval or guarantee of refund.  Once your return has been received by Chanson Hardware, it will be inspected and processed, which may take 5-7 business days.  Our Returns Department will notify you of the outcome of your return.  If a return has been approved for a refund, your original payment method will be credited. Some banks or credit card companies will require additional time to process and post the refund amount.  

 

Cancellations (by customer):

Chanson Hardware does not have a cancelation window, as your order may begin its fulfillment process once placed.  Please email info@chansonhardware.com as soon as possible and we will try to cancel your order.  If your order is unable to be cancelled, you will need to initiate a return.

 

Damage, Defects, or Shipment Issues:

Please inspect your order once it has been delivered. Chanson Hardware must be notified within 7 days, after delivery, of any damage, defects, or shipment issues (e.g. missing items, wrong item, etc.).  If there is an issue with your order, please email us immediately at info@chansonhardware.com.

 

Exchanges:

Exchanges are handled as a return and a new order.  If you would like to exchange an item, please initiate a return.
